Knowledge in material of Construction and Repair & Maintenance of Rubber Lined Vessels will be preferred.

: Experience in Design, Engineering Project Execution, Maintenance of Instruments (including control system involving DCS) in a Large Process Industry like Fertilizer Complex/ Petrochemical Complex or a large Thermal Power Plant.

: Minimum 4 years experience or ME (structure) and 2 years experience in Design of Industrial Structure both of RCC and Structural Steel of Large Spans and Height, Foundations of Dynamic Equipment and having experience to carry out analysis as per Seismic Wind and other relevant codes.

4. EXPERIENCE
(Area of Experience)
: Experience in the Quality Control Laboratory for estimation of Quality Control Parameters using Conventional & Advanced Analytical techniques such as use of UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatograph (GC-HPLC), Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), Infra red Spectrophotometer (IR), Mass Spectrometer (MS), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer etc.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :
 
1. AGE LIMIT (Age as on 01.07.2010) : 40 Years.
   
2.
PAY BAND & GRADE PAY:Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/- [PB-3].
   
3. ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL BENEFITS :
  In addition to the normal pay and allowances viz. House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance etc. as admissible under the Rules, the Department of Atomic Energy employees are entitled to attractive financial benefits under various incentive schemes. These benefits are provided in view of special S&T status of the Department and reviewed by the Government from time to time.
   
4. MODE OF SELECTION : Selection will be on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview.
   
5. The nature of duties to be performed by the above categories involve working in round the clock shift duties, in operational plants and areas located at various parts of the country.
   
6. Candidates selected against this advertisement are likely to be posted at any of the Heavy Water Plants, but are also liable to serve in any part of India and in any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy as may be required in public interest.
   
7. The candidates appointed will be governed by New Contributory Pension Scheme effective from 01.01.2004.
   
8. The outstation candidates called for interview will be eligible for to and fro rail fare for IInd Class (GENERAL CLASS) or actual fare by the shortest route whichever is less, subject to the production of tickets / ticket numbers etc. However, Traveling Allowance is not admissible to those SC/ST candidates who are already in Central/State Government services, Central/State Government Corporation, Public Undertakings, Local Government Institutions and Panchayats.
   
9. The vacancies shown above are provisional and liable to vary. In case the vacancy position for any category is reduced or even made nil, HWB is not liable to compensate the applicant for consequential damage/loss.
   
10. In case the response is more, the screening will be restricted to those with higher percentage of marks.
   
11. Before applying for the post, the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfill all the eligibility norms. The candidates should have the requisite Educational/Technical qualifications from recognized University/Institute as on the date of submission of the application and should enclose with their application Marksheets of SSC, HSC, BE/B.Tech (ALL SEMESTERS AND CONSOLIDATED MARKSHEET COPIES), Degree Certificate, Experience Certificate in support of having the requisite qualification attested by Gazetted Officer.
   
12. Application which is illegible, incomplete, unsigned, not in prescribed format, without photo of candidate, not having attested photo copy of certificates is liable to be rejected. If the post applied for is not indicated on the top of the envelope & the application, the same will not be entertained.
   
  HOW TO APPLY:
   
1. Application should be made on good quality white A-4 size plain paper and should be in conformity with the format prescribed in proforma given overleaf. Candidates are advised to ensure that the application is legible, preferably typed in English or Hindi only.
   
2. The Candidate’s Name, Address with Pin Code, Date of Birth should be written legibly in English in bold capital letters, even if a Candidate fills-in application form in Hindi.

4. PHOTOGRAPH:  A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the right hand top corner of the application. One additional copy of passport size photograph should also be sent along with the application.
   
5. ATTESTED COPIES OF CERTIFICATES OF :
   
 
i) Educational / Technical qualification (supported by appropriate mark sheets indicating the subject offered at the examinations).
   
ii) Date of birth proof.
   
iii) Experience Certificates specifically stating the kind of work done should accompany the application.
   
iv) Discharge Certificate from Defence Service (applicable to ex-defence personnel only).
   
   
6. NOTE:
   
 
i) Candidates working as regular employees/trainees in Government/ Semi-Government, under the Central/State Govt., Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous organizations or any organizations which is aided by Government should submit their applications through proper channel. They may, however, send one advance copy of the application alongwith enclosures. But the advance copy will not be processed unless the original application is received through proper channel.
   
ii) Persons who are applying for more than one post, separate application should be submitted for each category.
